Stay True Barbershop

Those who know me, are aware that I’m kind of a “Barber Snob”. I’m extremely picky when I choose services to get a straight razor head shave and beard trim. I found myself in need of a barber near Guerneville, California (I live in San Francisco but will be in Guerneville quite a bit going forward). I did a lot of research online before deciding to check out Stay True Barbershop which is about 30 minutes away in Santa Rosa. Corey (the owner) turned out to be a great guy…very personable and funny. More importantly though, he provided phenomenal service!! I could not be happier with the results. The hot towels and straight razor head shave along with a trimming/clean up of my beard were outstanding but the cherry on top was the massage at the end which covered my upper back and neck! I will

a modern old school barbershop with none of the old fashioned vibes of bigotry or Chauvinism that sometimes come with it. Corey is awesome and super down to earth and puts the time and effort into his haircuts. i especially appreciate it that he washes your hair as part of his standard service. Ask him anything about Disneyland. He knows about all the secret food options there!

Corey did a great haircut for me! Very classic barbershop experience and one that is harder and harder to find these days: good quality haircut, good conversation, hair wash, hot towel, and straight razor finish. Appreciate the first responders discount too!

Corey is genuine, a real one with a good heart. Offers great conversation and usually some fun movies are playing. He's an expert in his craft, highly recommend!
