Oh my goodness I love this place! I just moved into the neighborhood and went there today for the first time! Such lovely people! And as a transgender woman who is always wary of going into new places, I felt totally safe, accepted, and treated with all the kindness and professionalism they treat everyone else. I had Jackie as my stylist extraordinaire! She’s fantastic! I was in such capable hands. She’s so talented and friendly. She now has a regular client! I Highly recommend Starlit Salon and especially Jackie!

This salon is close to my home and I was intrigued so I called them up. I wanted to do something drastic and cut off my lifelong very long, very curly hair for a fresh look. It is not a decision I made lightly - fellow glamourpusses will understand. From the moment I called the approach was collaborative and inclusive, warm and welcoming. I was scheduled with Jill, the owner, and received periodic text updates about my appointment. The day arrived with excitement, and it was well worth the wait! An adorable salon, neat as a pin, super clean and more like an art studio with high ceilings and lots of well-utilized space. I wish I could give zero stars. The haircut I received is nothing like the pictures I showed or the description I gave. He gave me bangs and layers, which were not in the pictures I showed. And what’s worse is I said I hate bangs and didn’t want them right before he chose to cut them anyway. It’s not even the length that I asked for. I will not be coming here again.

I absolutely loved my hair for my wedding and my bridesmaid’s hair. From the moment I booked to the last curl both Jill and Bonnie made me feel absolutely at home and truly listened to my ideas and wants for my wedding day. I am 100% happy with my results and cannot wait to see and share the pictures with them. If you need a stylist to do your hair for any occasion you cannot go wrong with Jill and Bonnie!
