Star Nails

I’ve been going there for years with my mom and last week Saturday I went to get a full acrylic set and I was paired with a new girl who was just practicing without consent. ( I had an event and would have never volunteered to be a practice participant in general but, especially for that day ). So unknowing that I was being used as practice hands the service began. I immediately saw that the usual service of nail prep was not being done but, I’m not a complainer I was “ trusting the process “ since everyone tends to have their own in hopes the end result would be the usual satisfying result I usually got there… no. I made an appointment for builder gel, I was greeted nicely when I enter the Nail salon and I confirmed I was getting builder gel, he points me to a table with nail color selections and I choose my color. I sit with Lena and confirm builder gels she nods her head m. And proceed to down down my nails, which are very weak. This was my first time here my daughters come here and was treating me to a manicure because I usually grab some press ons and call it a day. She starts filing my nails down with the mechanical file, I again state I’m getting builder gel which is applied on the natural nail to help strength them. She starts adding nail tips and this is when i knew she she was just saying yes to everything. I didn’t stop it though, and proceeded to finish so I could go home after working 2

I love star nails started going a few months ago and today got my nails done beautifully for my baby shower !!! Thank you guys so much I really love my nails

It’s never that serious to yell and scream … but don’t waste your money Brian and his team don’t listen to POC clients and are EXTREMELY RUDE, and biased I asked for him to look over his work with my nails because I have been growing my nails for a while and tend to get water pockets if not filled correctly and he said he didn’t know what I was talking about and continued to ignore me while still charging me for a half done service,.. I literally went in for a Gel fill and left with chipped and thinned out natural nail base. Please save yourself the headache. I am forced now to pay another person to fix this horrendous work … and my nail is still lopsided.

When asked to change the sticks for waxing and not double dip because I am a cosmetologist and no better they still provided the service on wife's chin and said one stick per customer . Beware your in for a scare ! Great infection control guys my wife been breaking out for months and I went this time to check it out. I was correct double dipping maybe triple as I seen her do more then once
