Star Nails II & Spa

First time in salon. It was really busy. We had an appointment and waited a long while still. I did have to let my nail tech know I wasn’t happy with my nails once the fill was complete (my nails were two different acrylic colors). He took the time to fix the issue the best way he could and I left feeling good about my nails. But the additional up-charges for chrome or art design, I felt like was a little over priced. So I stuck to a solid color. My nails are cute. But the whole experience wasn’t great. I don’t plan on returning.

I have been going to Emily for a little over a month now. Her work is amazing!! I wouldn’t go anywhere else. (** some of the pics I forgot to take a pic of when I first got them done.. so, in some you can tell they need a fill **)

Initially, I was quite nervous about getting my nails done. My past experiences had always been rushed and impersonal. However, this time was different. The lady who did my nails has been in the business for 27 years, and her expertise shone through. She took her time, answered all my questions, and even had someone apply polish to acrylic nails so I could compare and choose my preference. This level of care meant a lot to me. She wasn’t just doing my nails; she genuinely cared about me as a person. Knowing that I was getting married the next day, she even offered to do any necessary touch-ups later or the following morning. Without a doubt, I will return to her for all my future nail appointments. This was the best experience I’ve ever had.

I’ve had a great experience time after time at Star Nails! Kevin at table 10 did an AMAZING job with my “cat’s eye” “flower” nails today. It was his first time trying this technique and my first time getting them done this way. He was so meticulous and even re-did each nail until he got them perfected. Just wow! 🤩

The nail tech at table 21 is VERY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! She poorly did my nails left polish all on my fingers and nails, made two of my nails crooked and shorter than others and then blamed me for them being short . She don’t like to take criticism she got mad because I did not like my nails so she taunted me and said nobody wanted to fix my nails while laughing . That’s not how you treat customers !!! She also spoke in another language calling me racial slurs and out of my name . She yelled in front of the other customers that was there . I will NEVER EVER return there . 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND!!
