St. Paul Oral Surgery

I had oral surgery here yesterday to have four infected teeth extracted. When I first arrived, the front desk staff were welcoming and they got me in quickly. The easiest and most positive part of the whole experience was how quickly and pain-free they were able to place the IV and administer the anesthesia. I’m grateful that I was put under for the procedure. However, once I got home and the anesthesia fully wore off, especially by dinner time, the pain became extremely severe. I later realized that the pain medication they prescribed contains acetaminophen, which I cannot take because my doctor has told me to avoid it due to how it affects my blood. I had my wisdom teeth removed here yesterday and I couldn't praise them enough or recommend them more. Genuinely some of the kindest and warmest people working there. They are also very open and up front about the costs of things to help you make the best decisions possible. Thank you to Dr. Levi Zarbano and the whole team here for making an experience that I was terrified about so good and calming.

I've never had oral surgery before and was a bit apprehensive about getting 2 teeth pulled. But the entire staff was very reassuring, every step of the way. When I wasn't sure what kind of anesthesia to use, Dr Z explained my options so that I could make an informed decision. I went with the nitrous oxide and the Novocaine and it turned out to be just what I needed. Dr Z also told me that because I was not completely asleep, he could tell me what was happening next and what he needed me to do a heck of a lot easier than if I was completely asleep. It was those little details that made for the experience to be really positive. Even the post op instructions were clearly explained. I had my wisdom teeth removed here and I can’t say enough good things about the entire team. From start to finish, everyone was so comforting and patient, especially when I had a moment of panic after the epinephrine injection. The back-of-house dental staff were incredible and really helped calm me down. They were also very accommodating when I needed to change my original appointment, which I really appreciated. Dr. Z even called afterward to check on me, which meant a lot and showed how much they genuinely care about their patients. A special shoutout to the tech who handled my discharge and aftercare instructions she was absolutely wonderful, reassuring, and made sure I fully understood everything before leaving. Truly a 5-star experience. Highly recommend!
