Almost Heaven

I started going to Isa at Almost Heaven about a year ago after moving from Chicago to Minneapolis—she came highly recommended by friends across multiple circles. Before Isa, I’d never visited an independent nail artist, and now I can’t imagine going anywhere else. Not only do my nails look amazing, but my overall nail health has improved tremendously. I originally came in for Gel-X (which Isa does beautifully), but after following her work online I became curious about BIAB manicures. Isa took the time to answer every question and thoughtfully guide me through the transition. She approaches nail care as a journey—helping plan future appointments around both nail health and aesthetic goals, always with care and intention. Beyond her technical skill, Isa creates a truly special experience.

Isa is amazing. She is so talented and kind! I'd only gotten my nails done a couple of times before and never had extensions. She also has helped me break my cuticle picking habit.

Isa is truly the best!! I was looking to do more artistic styles with my nails, and she delivers every time. She is so patient and delicate with her work; she once sat 5 hours to paint portraits for my birthday nails. She is also super helpful as an artist and has helped actualize beautiful nail sets from the very abstract/arbitrary inspo photos that I bring her. She is really great at helping you grow your natural nails too, which I didn't realize was an option when I started getting my nails done (all but the lipstick shape are my natural nails). And last but certainly not least, Isa is so warm and caring to talk and sit with; she really takes care of her clients. There is no one I can speak more highly of, book with her!

Isa was an absolute angel. She is precious , talented and caring. Listened attentively to me yap while she gave me a fantastic luxurious experience with such high attention to detail to my nail and hand care. I asked for additional care and advice because or my sensitivity. Isa has an angelic touch. I purchased a luxurious manicure. Isa cleaned and polished my nails. My hands were gently care for with a pressed salt mineral scrub, exfoliated and washed with soothing eucalyptus hot towels, and moisturizer. Visiting with Isa today and always is the highlight of my week. I wish I would see Isa more often.

Isa is a phenomenally creative nail artist and is also highly professional, organized, punctual, and clear as a business owner. I have seen Isa since summer 2021 and received countless manicures from her in that time. Acrylics, gel-x, BIAB (builder in a bottle); extra long, short, medium; rounded, square, stiletto. Isa does it all. I don't see anyone else and I trust her completely. When I've come in with a specific picture, she would recreate it with precision. I especially like seeing her because she is artistically adventurous and curious, and provides excellent aesthetic guidance, too <3
