I’ve been seeing Laura regularly for about 7 years now. I am not an elite athlete but working with her I have access to an elite level massage therapist. She has been instrumental in helping me reach my goals in 3 marathons and multiple cycling endurance events. With her extensive knowledge of sports massage and injury prevention and recovery, she has become a trusted advisor. I have a lot of respect for her positive personality and approach to wellness.

Laura has magic hands! I am a competitive road cyclist and originally saw her for some hip pain. This was only the second time I had ever had a professional massage, and she could communicate so well with my body from the first visit. She was able to pinpoint the problems and work them out over a few visits. I have been seeing her ever since and I owe a lot of my racing success and healthy body to her incredible talent and thoughtfulness as a massage therapist. I used to think I couldn't afford regular massage, but I have been able to prioritize it in my budget and now I don't think twice about spending money to keep my body healthy, especially since I ask so much of it! Laura Green is an excellent massage therapist. I have personally been going to Laura for 6 years now. I have chronic lower back pain after three significant back surgeries over the years. Laura is the first LMT that has been good enough at treatment work to get me pain free. I also am an Athletic Trainer at the University of Portland and consistently refer our elite level athletes to Laura for treatment work. Hands down Laura Green is the BEST sports and treatment massage therapist in the Portland area. I strongly recommend her.

There are not enough stars to rate how amazing Laura's massages are. I use and abuse my body daily, training for my sport, and I love going to see Laura - she gives, by far, the best sports massage I have ever experienced before. Some people talk about how much sports massages hurt, but I've found that even when I expect some knot or out of place rib to hurt while Laura is working on it, it doesn't. She has a way of coaxing your muscles back into place, relaxing them, making your whole being feel right again. And she knows you're going to go right back out there and do it all over again! Laura is very good about thinking about how you use your body every day, and how her massages can help strengthen and promote better performance.

Laura is a dynamic and intuitive massage therapist who actually understands an athletes body. She listens to how your body is integrated into your sport or lifestyle and incorporates your needs and her knowledge into a therapeutic and releasing massage. To find a LMT who is both knowledgeable, consistent, and enjoyable to be around is hard to find and Laura is all of those things. I highly recommend her!
