Special Effects Salon and Medi Spa

This place is the most cleaned and organized spa that I have ever been. The chemicals that they are using It doesn't smell too strong. Very friendly staffs and they have beverages and healthy snacks for their clients. Wonderful and highly recommended. The price is reasonable.

Lisa, the salon owner is fantastic. She’s kind, compassionate, and so knowledgeable. The salon is beautiful and the atmosphere is very welcoming. You won’t regret choosing to go here for you salon and spa needs! I’ve had hair cuts, color, and nails done and never been disappointed. I promise you’ll keep coming back!

Lisa is such an amazing stylist! I had the most relaxing facial ever today. She clearly knows her stuff, because she altered the type of products she used based on my skin. I also got a manicure today, and I told her I was leaving on a tropical vacation and she came up with a sponge design that looks like a sunset. They’re so beautiful, I can’t stop looking at them!!!

Not at all happy with my hair. I came out with a worse haircut than I had when I went in and $120 poorer. I was lectured more on how to style my hair than she spent on the actual haircut. No attention to detail and total disregard for the way my hair grows. Refused to listen to what I was telling her. I have had better $5 haircuts at the air force base exchange.

Lisa Ryan has been providing me with her excellent care for 26 years. I look forward to seeing Lisa at 6:30 A.M. every three weeks. Her professional demeanor as well as her sincere concern for her clients makes Lisa Ryan a very special person. I am pleased to recommend Special Effects Salon & Spa without reservation.
