Sharkey's Cuts for Kids - Mequon, WI

We went to Sharkey’s for my daughter’s first hair cut! The fun atmosphere made it really exciting for her. She got to sit in a Frozen themed jeep, and Azira our amazing stylist put on Frozen 2 for her to watch. The whole place is magical. The service was top notch and my daughter had a wonderful experience. Highly recommend for kids. I am SO glad this location opened where it did - finally a kids-specific hair place nearby.

This is a new hair salon for kids in mequon. I stumbled upon it on accident and I'm so happy I did. The staff is so friendly and I met one of the owners who was also so kind. The hairstyle is did an excellent job with my son who was getting his hair cut for the first time. He does not like people around his head due to having a helmet for the first year of his life and this hair cutting salon made him feel so comfortable that he that great for his haircut. The stylist interacted with him and made it fun. Not to mention, the entire salon is just intriguing for children to look at and they get to sit in cars as the salon chair so it's just an overall really good experience. I brought my 3-year-old son in for a haircut and had such an amazing experience that I had to leave a review! From the moment we walked in, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and so patient with him. They took the time to talk to him, help him feel comfortable, and even made the whole experience fun. The stylist was incredibly gentle and knew exactly how to work with toddlers who don’t always sit still. She handled everything with calm professionalism, and my son ended up enjoying the entire haircut. The final result was perfect—clean, neat, and adorable! The salon is very clean, organized, and clearly kid-friendly. It’s hard to find places that truly know how to work with young children, but they exceeded all expectations. We drove from Rockford, IL to Sharkey’s in Mequon, WI because having a kid friendly place to go to get your haircut was important to our family. They did not disappoint at all! My son was happy the entire time. Azira was able to cut his hair while he wiggled all around and was playing with the cool firetruck he sat in. If you’re looking for a memorable experience, Sharkey’s is the place to go.

This place is amazing! The kids can play Xbox or watch a show on the TV while getting a haircut. It was very convenient to book an appointment online. The stylist took her time and did such a nice job with the kids. The owners are also very kind. We will be getting all our kid’s haircuts here from now on! 10/10, highly recommend!
