Sorry to those that did not have a pleasant experience. Lucy was wonderful and made sure everything went well. Check-in staff were great and friendly. Not sure about pool access, however, there is a dry sauna. Complimentary flavored drops for water and tea. Men's shower as another reviewer mentioned was not warm or hot enough. Curtain rode was not smooth to pull curtain.

The overall experience was alright but easily could have been much better. As an initial matter, the environment is not nearly as tranquil as most spas. It is much too brightly lit and there is not the sense of cleansing air that permeates most spas. Further, the chairs in the waiting area could be more comfortable and even heated. More importantly, the inordinate time required to heat the water in the men’s locker room seems highly avoidable. The attendant turned it on for me when escorting me into the locker room, but it was barely tolerable after running while I put my clothes in the locker. The water was fine after being allowed to run much longer after my treatment. I enjoyed my massage, but it went so quickly that it did not feel that it lasted 80 minutes. The masseur covering the

Love Spa Fjor for my appointments with Melissa. Melissa is always welcoming and so kind. She always asks if I have any concerns and listens carefully when I explain an issue. She offers advice and even walks out to go over products I may find helpful. When checking in the staff is friendly and so pleasant. The spa is calming and peaceful, the robes are lovely and the amenities offered are perfect. As a side note- It would be wonderful if there were a small shower in the Facial Room to use quickly before exiting to the public area. Overall my last two years have been a true pleasure. Really appreciate the valet parking, the staff in The Cafe are delightful and often I have breakfast or lunch in the restaurant. The staff is friendly and the menu has wonderful choices. Always look

I really don’t like writing negative reviews but I had an experience that nobody should have. I am an understanding person and realize that things do happen, but after processing this further I know I need to share my experience. I arrived to the hotel on Monday and called the spa to see if they had an availability for a ‘mommy to be’ massage the next day. The woman I spoke to said that there was a 1pm and 2pm available, I chose the 1pm. An email confirmation was sent to me and I completed an intake form indicating how far along in my pregnancy I am, medical conditions and focus areas. Tuesday I arrived at the spa at 12:45 like I was told, waited in the waiting area for my massage which I was really looking forward to and it was 1:15 and I still hadn’t been called back. Booked a treatment the night before we planned to checkout from the hotel. In the morning we decided it was pushing us too close to our leaving time so we called to cancel and they THEN told us we couldn't cancel b/c it is within 48 hrs. All it takes is a simple statement during booking saying just to let you know this is within our cancellation time so this will be nonrefundable. In the end after very rude service I had to go down there and she finally refunded us but made us pay the 20% service charge still (which I am fine with). I am not gone with her sarcastic laughtee about it all like "that's when you weren't able to come" even though we had to rearrange our entire morning so we could go down there in person to deal with this since she wouldn't answer on the phone.
