Spa at Equinox

I have been coming to the Equinox Spa for years as a member. I have always had professional service delivered in a polite and thoughtful way. The Spa being in a small town sometimes has issues with its pool or service but everyone tries to make things work out for guests. Thank you to all who make the Equinox Spa a high light in this beautiful town.

If you're looking to relax, this is not the spa for you! I didn't realize there was no quiet lounge for spa guests. My daughter's facial was horrible (not at all what was described & just lathered on lotion/no pressure at all or detoxifying). We mentioned this to the unfriendly receptionist while paying and she completely ignored us. After arriving, we wasted 20 minutes to find a functioning locker after the receptionist just dumped us into the locker room - no quick overview on lockers, spa amenities, and where to go to wait for appointment, etc. Yet we later saw a different lady explaining to another guest so no standard processes. The "waiting room" is nice with chairs and fireplace but many hotel guests just walking around to look at the spa and lots of talking. They don't have a separ

Everyone was so kind !!! I had the most amazing Facial with Sharon!! She was engaging and so friendly! She really knew how to massage too!! The Vermont glow had me glowing all day :) much needed for the long summer months! This place is truly a Gem!

5 stars for masseur, Matthew. If you’re looking for a deep tissue massage, he is wonderful and very knowledgeable. He focused our time on a problem area and I am feeling so much relief. Thank you Matthew! 2.5 stars for the facilities. Definitely a “tired” space that needs attention. Women’s locker room, showers, sauna all felt like they needed to be cleaned (but really updated). Enough so that I didn’t even want to use the sauna or showers.

Hot tub does not work and is not clean. Steam room is clearly very moldy. Sauna was finicky and not getting as warm as I’d expect. All of these things are included in the $40 per night “resort fee” at The Equinox but they are not maintained at all, so they are just stealing your money. Massage was GREAT, but I will not be returning because the facility was run down and not worth the cost.
