I had The owner straighten and cut my 10 year olds hair on spring break.She did cry and fuss a bit cuz it was really tangled.After the 3+hrs it ended up looking good and she charged me $280 which I thought was to high.I did exactly what she told me as far as maintaining it but the next morning I was shocked at how it looked as u can see in the pictures above.I text Monique right away as to what happened and what I could do to fix it.She never responded at all I tried 2 more times still no response from her AT ALL.This is very unprofessional And not right especially after charging me $280.She went back to school very upset iam totally disappointed In this salon and I would never recommend them to anyone.

I recently visited a salon in Portland I found on Google Maps after moving to the area and noticed their Texas logo. The stylist, Secret, was friendly but had double-booked, which led to a bit of a wait. Despite this, I overheard her and another stylist, Sammy, sharing valuable local advice. The quality of the service was high, though the prices were on the expensive side. If you're looking for quality hair braiding, I recommend this salon for their expertise, even if it comes at a premium

I’m new to the area & so glad I found Monique! Not only did she do a great job on my hair (Design Essentials STS & trim), but she’s also fun to chat with. Pricing is reasonable and booking online is easy. I’ll definitely be back

Secret was wonderful!! She took me in, even though I ordered the wrong hair style, thus giving the incorrect time slot. ( I wanted goddess braids but selected straight back braids because I didn't know what's what.) She took care of me while also taking care of her other guest. She works FAST and does a great job! I love my braids and will be sure to return again in the near future!

I called the salon and was prompted to book a consultation so there would be an evaluation of my hair without her full attention. When I arrived She had a client and I had to wait over a hour. I showed Monique a picture of the style I wanted and she said so could do it. She buzzed my hair completely off , way to short for the style , and it was very very unevenly cut. I didn’t say anything ( which is where I went wrong ) but it was already cut so what could I do ? I was also charged $80 for this cut which is ridiculous but hey I just paid and left. I wouldn’t recommend her for any type of cuts.
