ive been to the place twice, and BOTH times i did not enjoy what i recieved. the first time i got a cut and color, the cut was simple and great, but the color was WAY darker than i asked, which she said it would be a dark brown, and it came out black. the second time i went, the color was pretty good. but the cut was TERRIBLE. it was choppy, uneven, got rid of hair that i asked to not. i told her i was growing it out and didnt want much off, though she took off lots of hair. i payed $240 for the second appointment?? this was about 2 months ago, and has still not improved well and continues to look choppy and bad. i dont recommend this place if youre looking for a “trendy” haircut/color.

I showed up with a hot mess and no idea of what I wanted to do with it. Bre went above and beyond to make sure I left happy and with healthy hair! She cut it to the EXACT length I asked for! Price was reasonable! I did a full color, highlights, lowlights, a money piece, a hair cut and style and three conditioning treatments for $220. I can’t wait for my next appointment!

This is such a cute salon! The staff are so helpful and nice! Kelsey is amazing and always does an amazing job! For my every day hair and my wedding day! If your looking for a new stylist or for someone to do hair and makeup for your wedding give them a call! They are all amazing!!!

I have been to Southern Roots several times and every time I have loved my experience. My hair is healthier then ever and the salon is beautiful. I have seen both Hannah and Kelsey and both did a great job. I would recommend this salon to anyone looking for a new salon.

Love this salon!! Southern Roots is a beautiful salon and everyone there is so kind...they are very up to date on the latest trends with cut and color!! I can’t say enough good things about the salon and the staff, you can most certainly tell that they care about their clients. I love my stylist Mary, she’s a gem!!
