I came to John after seeing another stylist who didn't quite understand what I wanted and left me unhappy. I reached out by email to several local salons to and John was extremely responsive and got me in quickly to add more blonde and fix me up! I have recently returned for a highlight touch up and haircut. It looks fabulous and is exactly what I wanted. The color is amazing and the cut was sharp and not too short (an issue I've before when other stylists cut too much off). He was also very fast and efficient- I was in and out in under 1.5 hours! I am extremely happy with the service, responsiveness, color expertise and the prices are very competitive. The close in SE location is another plus!

I had an amazing experience at Southeast Salon! As a young grad student on a tight budget, it's very difficult to find the time and money to get my hair lightened. I reached out to John, and he graciously offered a service at a price I could afford—it was incredibly generous. Despite the discount, John went above and beyond, giving me beautiful and vibrant highlights. He was also so fun to chat with during the appointment, which made the time pass quickly. Such a great experience! John was able to get me in for a last minute weekend cut and color. Super cute salon, color is exactly what I wanted and a great stylist. A hidden SE gem! Seriously, keep it secret-I don't want to share them.;)

This review is long due — I went in to get my hair colored dark in late September and I absolutely loved everything about my experience. The stylist was so kind and professional, the salon was cozy and welcoming, and the price was so affordable. Not to mention, I loved how my hair turned out so much. I will absolutely come back here the next time that I wish to color my hair. Exceptional experience. :)
