First time to South Street Salon and what a great experience; friendly greeting from the moment I stepped into the salon! Morgan Murin is amazing hair stylist! Listened and ask questions to ensure I have the best hair color/style! Jay came by and was also very welcoming and nice! Entire staff is great! Highly recommend Morgan!

I have been going to South Street Salon for years, and it's because of their amazing stylist Katie! She is able to do my hair exactly how I request it, and my partner's hair, too! She's done highlights for me, as well as hair styles and cuts. Most recently, she gave me the most beautiful flip. The Salon itself is very welcoming, and I always enjoy my visit. I highly recommend Katie!

South Street Salon’s staff and skills have been consistently amazing over the 20 years I have been a customer. My son has had his haircut here as well. I won’t go anywhere else! Jaycee Jr. is a fantastic colorist/stylist. I've had strangers stop me on the street to compliment my cut/color. You won't be disappointed. I moved 8 years ago to DC, but still head back here to get my hair cut.

My hair looks horrible!! I brought in a picture of the type of effect I wanted and I got something that looks NOTHING like the picture. I understand that some colors are not attainable with a person's natural hair color,. If the color I wanted was not possible on my head, I would have expected the colorist to tell me it was not going to look right with my color and texture hair. Instead I got a head full of brassy copper colored hair that looks absolutely ridiculous! Think twice about using this salon....
