Sophie's African-Hair Braiding

Avoid this place. Owner Sophia is very unprofessional. Workers are lazy and took several breaks without notice. I arrived at 930am left at 9pm for a service that was suppose to take 6 MAX… two people worked on my head for what was suppose to be small box braids! They were not small at all picture below! A waste of 300 dollars!

Today I decided to get my hair braided for the base of a sew in....An hour or so later I had Ghana braid in updo. Thus place was very courteous an polite. Every Stylist that entered the shop greeted all customers. It was a pleasant experience with Ms. Ticia (I bet I spelled it wrong) was great prompt service an results. She rocks and she did her thang coming back soon.👌😍

Very unprofessional. Stopped in the middle of braiding my hair after I waited 30 minutes for her to begin. I had to wait an hour while she did someone else’s hair. I’ve been here for 5 hours and my hair is not even half way done.

I loved my hair. I only got a very quick style with just two braids at a very low cost!! Hard to find that these days! Very satisfied! I was told to be there at one time and the stylist came over an hour later but it was worth the wait!!!

There was a little confusion when I first walked in about who is doing what customers hair. My appointment was at 930 but no one showed up until 10. Other than that the service was great and I had hairstylist Devisha (I think that is her name), she is the only American in there, did a great job with my hair. Will definitely use them again.
