Solace studio presents a very clean and welcoming environment. I scheduled a haircut with Hoang based on several recommendations from friends, and he absolutely delivered! Hoang truly cares about his craft; taking time and care to ensure he provides a phenomenal haircut each time. Very pleased, and will be a repeat customer.

A friend recommended I check out Hoang for my pre wedding haircut. I was so pleased with the result that I’ve stopped having a buzz cut and routinely go to Solace! The studio is clean, put together, and always has a good vibe. Hoang’s a great dude who is passionate about his craft and couples it with his chill personality. The haircut goes by quick because we’re always having good conversation. Plus he’s got style and it gives me extra confidence when your barber has some drip.

Had my first haircut in Richmond today and it went really well. Hoang was friendly, spent 1 hour on perfecting my hair (supposed to only be 45 mins). The space is small, but cozy and fresh. Will be back!!!

I’ve been getting my hair cut by Hoang for years, and I’ve followed him through two different locations because he’s truly exceptional. He’s encouraging, easy to talk to, and really listens to what you want. At the same time, he knows exactly when to step in with his professional eye to make sure you leave with the best possible cut. A true professional and someone I trust completely with my hair. Highly recommend.

I'm very picky when it comes to haircuts since not many people know how to cut thick, asian hair in Richmond, so I'm glad I found Hoang! He's affordable and is knowledgeable of what's in style, and is always willing to try new styles I give him. Always pleased with the cuts I get from him.
