My review is for the Take Down studio, I'm very happy I was able to give them a try after waiting months for my reservation to come. The young ladies that worked with me took their time and were very professional, I can't thank them enough for taking their time and helping me with the bird nest that was on my head LOL.

Ms. Keon is the best to do it and I will be the first to brag and recommend her to any and everyone. She has been doing my hair since 2012 and has never failed me. I have worn my hair in many styles, colors, lengths and Ms. Keon has mastered each and every style and I’ve lost count on the amount of compliments I have received throughout the years because of her. I trust her to give me sound advice, and her opinion when it comes to my hair and styles that fit me. She is very professional, she cares about not only her clients’ hair but us individually. Ask her about any style and She CAN DO IT!

Will never book again. If you schedule with Samuel Berry DONT! He cancelled my appointment 30 mins before it was supposed to begin and I was already walking up to the studio to avoid being late. The final fee also got massively adjusted compared to what the initial price was and all I was getting was a high fade. Somehow the price went from $50 to a total of $82.50. Do not reserve at this salon. Unprofessional.

I do not recommend The Take Down Shampoo Studio. I booked the Take Down and Clean Up service, which, as described on their website, promises a luxury hair care experience including takedown, detangling, shampoo, deep conditioning, blow dry, and a trim — specifically tailored for Black professional women. What I received was anything but luxurious or professional. My appointment was at 5:15 PM, but when I arrived, no one seemed to know I was coming. After some confusion, it was determined that Shirelle would be my stylist — except she didn’t arrive until 5:50 PM. Already off to a rocky start.
