Braids by Aminah

I had such a great experience at Braids by Aminah! I got BoHo braids and I absolutely love them. The staff were very polite and started on me right away, which I really appreciated. The shop is very clean and welcoming , they even have snacks available for clients. The whole experience was smooth and professional. I’ll definitely be coming back for my next hairstyle!

Clean shop, conveniently located and easy to communicate directly with owner Aminah. I requested smedium knotless waist length braids and the outcome was very neat and sleek. My braider was kind and light handed while also confirming what my desired look was multiple times before we began. I would definitely recommend the shop and return. It took about 7 and 1/2 hours with one braider. I was even able to complete my full work day on my laptop comfortably while getting styled. The shop was quite cold due to the extreme cold weather we are experiencing but I’d imagine on average basis it’s more cozy in there. Snacks and drinks are available.

I highly recommend Aminah! I drive over an hour just to get my hair done, and it is absolutely worth it.. Her communication is excellent she answered my calls and took the time to address all of my questions. She made sure I was comfortable throughout the appointment and even provided snacks and coffee. I’m definitely going back again soon! I loved my hair so much.

I’ve been to Aminah four times for my braiding needs. She did not disappoint during any of those visits. Super sweet, consummate professional, extremely accommodating. Her new space is such a pleasant oasis to get your hair done in. I’ll be back again and again and have recommended several friends to try her out.
