Unfortunately, I had a really negative experience at Sola Salon with Sarah White. I booked an appointment for a partial highlight and what I got was an over processed, botched highlight. First of all, instead of getting some lighter highlights placed around my face and a root smudge to create a softer transition, I got no dimension, a clump full of one dimensional color with stripey, orange hard lines. Stylists I’ve spoken to said it’s something a beauty school student would have done 20 years ago. She tried to fix it but the know-how just wasn’t there and it really didn’t improve at all. When I reached out a few days after the 2nd attempt, I asked for a partial refund for I knew I was going to get it color corrected for $300. She never answered my texts after that. She listened to how I wanted it cut and how I like to style it, then asked a few more questions and made a few suggestions. The cut came out perfect and she styled it awesome!
