Innovate Carolina Junction

I've been coming here since August. I love this space, and I love the people who run it. It is great for getting work done, and it has a lot of huddle and phone rooms and meeting spaces you can reserve for meetings. I am on several non profits, and having a space like this is great to meet. It is bright airy and full of light. The icing on the cake is a great coffee shop. Oops, there is also printer services and you can have mail sent to this space, which is great for WFH people if they do not want to expose their home address.

The Junction is a truly unique work environment, with multiple options for co-working, solo office work, meeting rooms and larger event spaces. My team and I have absolutely loved the amenities and perfect location in downtown Chapel Hill. Most impressive is the team of professionals managing the space, events and community engagement. Julia, Emily and Kimi are a joy to work with on every dimension- they are extremely responsive and helpful and have a very keen sense of what their members need. We are lucky to be able to share the building with such a strong core team.

I've worked here since it opened in Fall of '23. When I want to be part of the open-air innovation buzz (worth it) or have a private call in a sound-proof booth, or grab a conference room for a meeting or presentation, it's all here. And the student energy is contagious. The introduction of an on-site Meantime Coffee pushes my rating from a 5 to a 5+.

We absolutely love our offices at The Junction! The space is beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, and the shared working areas make collaborating and connecting with others so easy and enjoyable. I also was to hive a huge shoutout to Julia for being such an incredible building manager. She truly goes above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and supported. The community and building events she puts together are always fun, well-organized, and a great way to connect with others. Her newsletters are also a informative, engaging, and enjoyable to read!

Innovate Carolina Junction is an incredible space that truly stands out because of its fun, vibrant community. There’s an energy here that makes it inspiring to work, collaborate, and connect with others. The student-run Meantime Café is a huge highlight—not only is the coffee great, but it adds so much character and warmth to the space. On top of that, the Junction itself is absolutely beautiful, with a welcoming design that makes you want to spend time there. It’s more than just a workspace—it’s a community, and an amazing one at that.
