Soho Nails

This is by far one of the worst pedicure and manicure experiences I’ve ever had. Firstly, when they were doing my pedicure, they didn’t apply a base coat to protect the nail from turning yellow. When I asked, she said it wasn’t necessary (Strike #1). After she was done with my pedicure, it was sloppily done (see picture) and she didn’t bother to clean it up (Strike #2). Secondly, when she was removing my powder nail polish, she used the machine to remove my gel so much that it hurt. She proceeds to do the same with my next fingernail, but I asked her not to and to use the filer. She got irritated but complied (strike #3). After the powder gel manicure came off, she filed my nails, and boy was I annoyed at that point because it wasn’t round. It was half-assed, pointy and NOT round (strike

The best nail salon I have ever been to. Quiet and small and the owner is a sweetheart and will start recognizing you quickly. Amazing gel manicures that last for weeks. My UV gel manis last 4-5 weeks looking flawless. The pedicures are relaxing and wonderful also. They give a little back massage after your mani which is heavenly. Prices are reasonable. I am tempted to want to gatekeep this place that’s how much I love it. They take their time and do quality, detail oriented work. When I move out of Hoboken leaving soho nails will be one of the saddest parts!

I had a wonderful regular pedicure experience, they *actually* removed the calluses on my heels and did such a great massage on my feet and legs! The interior is nothing super fancy but I just care about the quality of the work so I would definitely go back!

This is my favorite nail salon for gel manicure. Call on the day off for appointments! They are busy. If you call before noon you will get an appointment. Don’t expect to walk in and get an appointment especially when the weather is good. My gel manicure usually lasts for 2.5 weeks without chipping. Highly recommend this salon

I saw the review and went here first time on last Sunday for a gel mani, but my nail starts chipping this Sunday.. I cant believe its broken in a week as my previous one lasted for a month without any issue. Very disappointed! 😭
