As someone who has had my fair share of last-minute hair needs, Sofia's braiding salon has been an absolutely saving grace for me. I like that there is almost always availability for someone to take you and do your hair when needed. Sofia herself is always very responsive which I appreciate too. The salon pricing feels fair.. which is harder to come across nowadays as well. Highly recommend to anyone whose looking for braiders in the area who know how to deliver on the look you want at a decent price.

The ladies here do beautiful work at amazing prices! They're always able to take walk-ins and make sure to accommodate as much as possible. My family and I have been going here for years and I now drive from two hours away just to get my hair braided here!

Sofia is amazing. She has great service, convenient location and accommodating appointments. I personally love her quick crochet braid styles that are versatile and easy to manage but her stylist can do anything. Check them out in San Leandro.

VERYYYYY unprofessional! I wish I can give 0 stars if I’m being honest. The lady who was supposed to do my hair left and went to a party. So another lady started doing my hair . Mind you like owner Sophia told me a price and it was set. Anyways Sophia wasn’t there and the lady who began to do my hair stopped and told me she was raising the price on my hair . I disagreed . She washed her hands and walked out without saying anything. The other ladies there told me she was going home because I didn’t want to pay the new price. As I said before SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL! Not to mention when I asked for pictures of the lady work I was denied those with an attitude ofc.
