Matoma African Hair Braiding

I went back to MK African Braiding and once again left highly satisfied. The consistency is what really stands out. Clean parts, neat braids, and great attention to detail from start to finish. The atmosphere was welcoming and professional, and my hair came out exactly how I wanted it. It’s always a good feeling to find a place you can return to and still be impressed. Definitely recommend, and I’ll be back again!

MK is not only cool, personable and professional, but she is a braid MASTER. It’s very seldom that I show someone an inspiring picture and the product comes out BETTER than the picture I show them. She was detail oriented, calm, patient, and I even slept during the braiding process (I’m tender headed). All the braids were the exact same size as she promised and I walked out feeling like a celebrity. I’m so excited to find a braider in Oakland who is reasonably priced, professional, kind and is a MASTER at her craft..don’t believe me, look at the pictures. I won’t be getting my braids anywhere else.

Excellent hair braider! Was able to fit me in before my vacation and trial stylists for my wedding. I wasnt hurt at all! Zero pain or pulling. She was incredibly quick. Shes also very personable and professional, yet so funny and a enjoy to be around. Will definitely come back to her! Also, she followed my request for crochet to protect the alopecia part of my head, and everything just turned out beautiful. The parts and hair was done perfectly!

I have to praise MK African Braiding for the outstanding service I received yesterday. I was looking for weeks for a reasonably priced African Braider. I want my hair braided in medium singles, no squares, to give me a full head. It’s very time-consuming; therefore, finding someone who can do this particular style and is willing to spend that time is very hard. I searched the last few weekends and Saturday with no luck, but yesterday, Sunday, I got lucky. I called MK African Braiding. Matoma answered the phone right away, and I explained what I wanted. She asked me when I would like to get it done. I said today, knowing it was last-minute, I expected her to say we cannot.
