Nkanola was so welcoming , friendly, and professional! She talked me through everything and explained in detail what she was doing/going to do throughout the wax. I appreciate her being so patient with me and for her always making sure I was comfortable. I also appreciate the fact she made sure I knew after care tips. She did not rush through, she was very persistent, and gentle. I have given birth 4 times naturally and I felt more comfortable and relaxed with Nkanola than when I had my kids. Let me start off by saying that I have the most sensitive skin you could ever imagine, as well as very thick, stubborn, deep rooted hair - quite the combination, I know. I have gone to other places and gotten a routine eyebrow or chin wax and left with my skin absolutely raw for DAYS! Smooth Sensations was an absolute breath of fresh air! Nkanola did such an amazing job - in every way! First off, I barely felt any of it, almost no pain at all! Because of my stubborn hair, she did have to go back and tweeze quite a few after the wax, but I barely felt it and that is amazing for me! The wax itself felt like nothing! She was very polite, friendly and most importantly she was thorough. She talked me through the process and was amazing. She is very detail oriented. She cares that you are not in any pain and that you are comfortable during the whole process. When going to her for my Brazilian, I don’t even have to take pain meds before, very minimal pain. Very professional and does a great job. She explains everything including any maintenance after procedure. She’s the perfect example of someone who doesn’t just do her job for the pay - she truly does it because it’s something she loves to do.
