Decided to try to save money from my normal salon, Princeton. I came to get my hair cut & loved it! So I decided to try back the next day to have my hair colored. I was getting full highlights & figured you can’t really mess up foils & highlights right? Well, wrong. 1. In 31 years, I’ve never gone blonde or had blond put in without a toner. However both stylists working were adamant that I did not need a toner & they could not see any brass or orange coloring. Except they did find some & so did I before I left. After twice trying to tell them I would like toner used, they still tried to find a way around it. After 3 hours of sitting there, 35 weeks pregnant, I wasn’t happy with the color, but was ready to go. Once they realized I was unhappy then they immediately started taking it seriousl

I got my hair cut here on a whim. My regular stylist was booked out for nearly two months and my hair was in dire need of some care. I stopped by and showed the stylist several pictures of what I wanted and was very specific about the length and style. I'll mention that what I wanted was very simple and not unrealistic. I walked out of the salon looking like Johnny Depp from Willy Wonka. I wanted my hair cut shoulder length with a long fringe. Instead I got a choppy, bob up to my chin and bangs halfway up my forehead. To make it worse, one side of my hair is about an inch longer than the other side. Went in for a wash and cut. Specially told her 2 inches. Had twice that amount cut off. Also let her know that I am a manager and can not havey underneath color really showing. She cut shorter layers then I wanted. The color is showing a lot more. Left very upset and when I went back a few moments later expressed how I felt and was told nothing could be done. Now I very insecure abouty hair and the way it looks. Not happy with this at all.

I have been visiting this Smart Styles since moving to Athens in 2018. I love this salon. They are professional, clean and the stylists are very good at their craft. This is my go-to salon!

I liked this salon for a quick cut. They had good customer service and did a good job. It's probably best to go online and make an appointment, but I did a walk-in and was out in less than 30min.
