Great stylist and equally good conversationalist. Very welcoming environment. Next time I need a haircut in Athens I know where to go. It IS cash and check only but there’s an ATM down the street and he’ll wait if you need to grab cash.

The owner is a very nice guy, and he takes his time to make sure you look just like you want. The interior is completely decorated with antique pieces from the old hotel. And the prices are great. Best barber in Athens!

Dave hands down is the best barber in the area. He not only does an incredible job, but he has gives you an incredible experience. The whole experience is very personal with basically a 1 chair shop. He spends his time and makes sure it’s prefect. Also is super fun and entertaining to talk to. I really look forward to getting my haircut.

Dave is always upbeat, up on current events & able to talk about a seemingly endless variety of topics. If he weren't great, I wouldn't have trusted him with my hair since 1976! Thanks for another great cut, Dave! 💇

Best barber ever! Dave is not just an incredibly talented barber, with his one chair shop just up from the Sheriff's office and at least five generations of Athens history, Dave is a wealth of information. Local tales and points of fact all merge together in an experience you leave feeling lucky to have witnessed. Where can I get this fixed, find the best fishing hole, best produce or best pie, all topics are open for discussion while I leave with the best haircut my mane will allow and rejuvenated with a greater sense of the community I live in.
