These appointments are meant to feel restorative and calming, not rushed, which is why this last visit was so disappointing. During her most recent resurfacing laser appointment, she was unexpectedly treated by a different provider without being informed beforehand. The provider initially began the wrong facial altogether, clearly without reviewing her file or the service that had been booked. From the beginning, the staff has been nothing short of amazing—always welcoming, attentive, and genuinely enthusiastic about each visit. The front desk specialist, "EL" was wonderful, she was handling the front desk, intake forms/pictures and was detailed with her explanations of the services Skin Laundry provides. She was so thorough, the aesthetician did not have to go over much. Skin Laundry is lucky to have a vibrant front desk person because many places the customer service is sub par. I really only came on to leave El a review since they didn't have a direct contact for the manager but, I'll leave a review for the service too. ;) I received the signature laser facial, no discomfort, was quick and out the door. I do think the lasers are on the milder side, which you would consider consistent monthly treatments to see noticeable results and they are up front about that. 4 month commitment, which order to maximize you can do 1-2 treatments per month. I did the recommended service with a $100 “Fixer” plus gratuity 4 times. No difference. That’s an investment of $1200. I tried to cancel and they gave me the “you can’t cancel this 4 month commitment unless a manager and corporate person approves, also it needs to be 7 days ahead of your bill date.” They have played cat and mouse with me for 3 weeks. The only way to get out of this is to actually cancel my credit card and get a new one. DO NOT GO HERE. YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED. Go to a real med spa where you can purchase a series of effective treatments for your money.

Just find a great aesthetician and enjoy a comprehensive facial. I came in for the introductory offer for $59. Very nice people with a general knowledge of the laser. The diode laser settings they use are very mild. 808nm, theoretically could stimulate collagen stimulation probably with a bit more power than a led light mask. She said it dissolves dirt and oil which I would say is an overreach. It likely affects bacteria causing acne though. The heavy isopropyl alcohol she applied pre treatment likely did more for the oil and dirt. The gel was applied cold and certainly not in any spa-like fashion. Just "plop-plop-plop - spread." The "mug shots" in an open hall facing the front door wasn't very "med" or "spa" like either. The "signature" facial I received today is normally greater
