Skillz Barber Shop

I am 54 and I’ve never been able to get a fade done right on my hair. I have curly thick hair. I went in today and Derriq (I think it is spelled like this) cut my hair, it is by far the best fade I’ve ever had. I will definitely be coming back next month. Great person to talk with as well.

Absolutely horrible experience with this shop. Went into the shop around 8:45 to get my son’s haircut. We usually drive to Glasgow but were trying to venture out and find a barber closer to home. Well, we sit there for over 45 min with only being acknowledged but the initial man telling me I used the wrong door and me asking him if they took walk-ins. Two other barbers came in, one of which had a client waiting, which is understandable but the other, the white gentleman scrolled on his phone and claimed to have a client on the way. We waited another 10 minutes or so and we left! DO NOT ADVERTISE AND AQY YOU TAKW WALK-ins and let a client who might I say is a wonderful tipper sit and wait for over 45 minutes with empty chairs and available barbers!!! Horrible customer service as well as bus

We just moved to Bowling Green so I needed to find a new barbershop. Skillz had really good reviews so I chose them. I chose to book him with owner, Jeremy. Pros: 1. Booking the appointment was super easy online and I was quite pleased at times that were available (as late as 8:15PM!) 2. The shop was clean and there was plenty of seating in the middle. Decor was decent. 3. My son liked his cut. Can't get better than that. 4. Jeremy was friendly and made us feel welcome to our new community. 5. Many different forms of payment accepted. Cons: 1. The online booking site asked for tip up front. I'm not a fan of those practices. Overall, off to a great start with Jeremy and them at Skillz. We'll be back.

I think I have found a barber shop and a barber that can actually cut my sons hair. I searched high and low for 9 years. My son has a double cow lick on the crown.a cow lick in the front, a cow lick on both sides, and his hair swirls on the back of his head 😂. So short of a buzz cut, needless to say, it's hard to manage. But airmen at Skillz listened to me and hooked my child up and made it easy on this momma when it came to fixing his hair this morning.

Today is the first time I have taken one of my boys here. It was an interesting first time. There was a misscomunitation about changing the time. It was only after I restarted my phone that I got texts from explaining the appointment time change from earlier this morning. Jeremy, the owner, was our barber. He did a superb job. His patience and understanding about the commincation error, my grumpy, and apologetic attitudes showed his awesome character as a businessman.
