I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my recent experience with this hair braiding service due to the blatant lack of professionalism and respect I encountered. From the beginning, their communication towards me was disrespectful. To make matters worse, the price I was quoted beforehand mysteriously changed after the service was done, and I was pressured into paying more than agreed upon without a clear explanation. I’ve had my hair braided many times before, and I’ve never been treated with such disregard. There’s absolutely no excuse for this kind of behavior in any service industry, especially one that involves personal care.

If you are not going to braid your hair, don’t make the mistake of going there and be ready to spend your day there. No concept of time . They had no towel to dry my hair after a wash, paper towel was offered to me with no apology or explanation. It was a total nightmare, never again !!!

I’ve gone here on several occasions. The first time I went I did have to wait a little while but I was very pleased with my hair. The second time that I went I had someone immediately working on my hair. And last week when I went I did not have to wait and the owner Mimi did a fantastic job. Everyone loved my hair. I think that it is definitely worth giving a try and their prices are very reasonable. The styles that I have gotten have been very simple straight back braids. Although I have seen them do some really amazing work on the other ladies that have come in. They only except cash so please be prepared for your appointment with cash in hand, if not you can go to the ATM at the gas station on the corner.

I made a 10 o'clock appointment for my daughter a week before we went. The day of our appointment, we waited 4 hours for my daughter to get in a chair. Once we said we were leaving, they finally put her in a chair to start on her hair. I paid $180 for some braids that were only worth about $120. The square were big and the braids were too spaced out. I will not be going back.... EVER!

I will definitely be going back. 😎
