Reasonably priced and great service. This store also stocks locally owned brands and hard to find items from The Honey Pot! I will definitely make return visits to this store

I had a deeply disappointing and upsetting experience at Simply Divine Beauty Supply in Pasadena. During my visit, I encountered treatment that felt blatantly discriminatory and unwelcoming. As a paying customer, I expected basic respect, but instead I was met with rude behavior and thinly veiled racial bias. I tried asking questions about products, only to be ignored or dismissed, while other customers were treated with kindness and patience. The energy shifted entirely depending on who walked through the door. It was clear who was welcome and who wasn't--and that's simply not okay. It's 2025. I just had the most awesome experience at this beauty supply store. I’m restarting my loc journey, and had to go in to make some purchases specifically for locs for the first time after four years. I was met by Bri, a young enthusiastic cashier who was so helpful. She had really great recommendations for me, she was super knowledgeable, and her energy was just infectious in the best way. I really like this spot for the variety but had a bad experience with hair extensions this time. I asked for help and explained that I don’t know much about extensions and I only needed JUST A FEW inches to my current length I also needed help matching the color. The girls who helped me swore that the color was going to match and the length wouldn’t be too long. At home, the color was completely off and there’s a huge difference in length; 8” and I can’t blend it to make it look natural since the length is so day and night. I can’t return them so now I spent 100 on extensions that are the wrong color completely and way too long. I feel like I was upsold and on the wrong product. That’s okay, thanks for meeting me. I stopped off in Pasadena just to shop at Simply Divine Beauty Supply. The hair care products I was in search of l was able to purchase here. The young Lady that assisted me was very knowledgeable of the different product lines sold at Simply Divine. I did appreciate the professional Customer service I received. I'll be back.
