PLEASE, Do not waste your money! Shy is unprofessional and very inexperienced. My daughter went to Shy to get a traditional sew-in. Shy was 20 mins late and did not apologize nor take any money off the service. My daughter’s hair looked awful and the install was extremely too tight. My daughter was in excruciating pain. I had to take down the style which was such a huge inconvenience because she got her hair done for prom. Don’t be fooled by this stylists following on Instagram and the pics/videos she posts. It’s in your best interest to find someone with more professionalism and experience. I don’t even think this stylist has a license to do hair. Shame on us for not verifying. Never again!

I’ve been getting my bundles and wigs from Shy (owner) since about 2019! When I say she has the best quality hair and her wig stitch is amazing !! The wigs last forever with proper care of course . She has also done my sew ins which last for a long time especially with a in between maintenance appointment.. So just know you get exactly what you pay for . I just ordered my birthday custom wig and literally can’t wait for the install slay . If y’all looking for great hair quality , awesome professional customer service and long lasting products . Shy Platinum Bar is where you NEED TO GO !!

This was my first time getting my hair done by Shy, and she was great!! Very nice, the shop was nice the people in the shop were super nice!! I loved my hair. When I reached out, she responded back in a timely manner! Something I can say a lot of hairstyles here in Raleigh tend to not do. It's the small things for me. I would definitely go back. FYI, she did my hair for my wedding day. This was while I was on my honeymoon.

Let's just say Shy's Platinum Bar does not dissappoint. One of the best stylist in the Raleigh area! Very professional stylist, her wigs are amazing quality and her hair coloring is on point. She works hard to deliver exactly what you ask. Her shop is clean and gives off positive vibes.

This was my first time going to Shy’s Platinum Bar and I will definitely be coming back! She is professional, caring, and talented. If you want the real deal THIS IS WHERE TO GO. She’ll take her time and make sure you are satisfied! Love it!
