Mariam is an absolute doll and does amazing work threading. She is very organized with her scheduling, always ready for me when I arrive and sends a reminder text a day before every appointment. I have been going to Short Pump Threading since I moved to Richmond a year ago and so happy with my eyebrows every single time I leave. Couldn’t recommend Mariam enough!

It’s unfortunate that the bad reviews get hidden (weird). When I found her salon, all I saw were 5 star reviews and I thought I was so lucky to hit the jack pot. WRONG. I had been going to my previous eyebrow lady for 10 years before she moved and I had to search for someone new. I came across Mariam’s page and decided to give her a try, especially since all I saw were the good reviews. When I arrived, I showed her a picture of how my eyebrows looked when they were shaped and cleaned and that’s how I wanted them. I had worked hard with my previous eyebrow lady to maintain the thickness and didn’t want that to go away. Mariam quickly dismissed my pictures and shoved my phone down and told me to sit. So I did. Mariam provides excellent customer service and is very knowledgable with both waxing and threading. Her techniques makes the process painless in my opinion. She was able to fix my eyebrows after years of waxing. Very grateful that a friend recommended her to me.

I started going to this place based on the great google reviews and I am glad I did! The reviews are spot on. Mariyam’s place is everything I would ever want in an eyebrow place: easy to make appointments, affordable, quick and painless. I know a lot of friends who prefer to wax or shave their eyebrows because of pain associated with threading. However, Mariyam is great and I would say it is even less painful than waxing. Second, she gets in done within 5-7 minutes, so you can drop by even without an appointment if needed sometimes. If you are on the fence about this place, give it a shot, you will be hooked!

miriam is literally the worst! I’m not even saying that lightly. I typically never write reviews but I had to warn people! Won’t be surprised if my review is deleted bc all the low reviews are hidden. First things first, she will ask about your previous eyebrow person and talk badly about them. And act like she is the best and only she can thread painlessly. She does a decent job, but her fake passive way of talking is unsettling. I ignored her behavior and continued going to her bc I didn’t have another option. But she kept changing the prices each time and when I’d ask her why she would just say it’s the new policy and some bs answer. When I checked with another friend that went to her, I knew for sure she was up charging me and including tip. I’m sorry what?? you can’t just do that and
