Let me start off with this. I HATE getting my haircut. However, I was in town for business and needed to look presentable and of the 8 barber shops in the area Shears was the only to even answer the phone. Set me up for an appointment right away and I drug myself down to the shop. First off walking into a cool building feels amazing especially if you’re getting a haircut and these ladies keep it ice cold. Payton sat me down and asked me what’d I’d like and I told her exactly what I want and that’d I’d like to get it over with. I didn’t even finish my sentence and she gave me the best cut I’ve had in years. I live 2493 miles from this shop and I just might come back next time I need a cut. I’ve been getting my hair cut here for the last year and love it every time. Payton is incredible. You know how you’ll hear stories about how someone’s cooking can be so good that it’ll make a man fall in love with them? That’s me after Payton cuts my hair. Now I take vitamin supplements so my hair will grow extra fast so I can be back sooner. I wouldn’t say I’m IN love but I WOULD be emotionally devastated if Payton weren’t cutting my hair anymore. Some may say that’s not healthy but I would say “hey man, get your hair cut by Payton and you try not to think about settling down.” Then I would run my fingers through my perfectly textured hair and contemplate my own life thus far, realizing I really want one of those hot shaving cream machines they have for my own house.
