My first time here was a treat! A calm and relaxing salon experience. Joel is welcoming and made me feel at ease. He is also a gifted stylist. I will be back.

Joel and an absolute amazing human being. Had one of the best experiences in a very long time. Now a days it is scary going to a new salon but I am so thankful I stumbled across this place. Will be recommending to everyone I cross paths with. 10/10 highly recommend especially Joel.

I have anxiety about getting my hair cut but Joel put all my fears to rest and listened carefully to what I wanted. He also gave me good suggestions about what to do with my hair. I will definitely be back again in a couple months. :)

Joel from Shear Elegance in Vernon, CT is the best colorist I've ever encountered. When my color was ROYALLY messed up from another colorist, I found him by recommendation. THEN I discover he was a former hair color chemist for Proctor and Gamble before they closed that division! A real expert- not just someone who loves to do color, but someone who is a bona-fide expert in color. SCORE! 4 years now- I even fly back from Florida in the winter to have him do my color each month. You won't regret going there, and he will make it right the first time. I am naturally an unusual color of strawberry blonde (red).. As I've aged, my hair color intensity did too. Joel restored it to it's natural color, and maintains it with excellent products as well- he has even researched specific products for my
