We had such an incredible experience here with our son, who has autism. If you’re a parent of a child on the autism spectrum, sensory-sensitive, or anxious about haircuts, this shop is truly a safe and welcoming space. A barbershop can be very overwhelming for our kiddo, especially since this was his first haircut in a long time but from the moment we arrived, we felt understood and supported. Shawn, the barber, went above and beyond in every way. He was patient, gentle, and followed our son’s lead the entire time, which is huge for autism families. He let our son feel the clippers, turned them on so he could hear the sound, spoke to him with constant positive reinforcement, reassured him, and talked about his favorite shows to help him feel comfortable. My now husband got his hair cut here right before our wedding by Shawny and it was the best haircut he's ever gotten. When all his groomsmen saw how good it was they all went the next day and got haircuts at legendary looks too! Great place and reasonable price.

Kevin was incredibly patient, thorough and professional with our four year old for his 1st haircut. Son was initially nervous (after a week of excitedly talking about his "big boy haircut", he was thrown by being in a new space with new people), but Kevin helped him through the experience and the cut is very nice. Son had a LOT of hair and Kevin brought the vision to life. He was even able to give him a lineup! We will bring our son back. Highly recommend.
