I have been going to shear bliss for years now and only trust Michelle after trying many places in Manhattan and never loving my hair after! The first time I went to her I got a balayage and cut. She listened to me and did exactly what I asked! It looked natural and blended perfectly. She took her time and ensured it looked natural, like I wanted, and I ensured I was happy. I will only go back to her for my haircuts and color- Never disappoints and I always leave actually loving my hair. Highly recommend!

AnnMarie will always be special to me! As a nervous bride-to-be she spent 2 hours doing my hair trial to ensure that I was happy and comfortable with my hair for my upcoming big day. She has a great presence and the morning of my wedding she was essential. The compliments on my hair keep coming, weeks after my wedding is over! After meeting her for my wedding I started going to her for color and cut and she can do it all, with a fun and relaxing studio.

About a year and a half ago I went to AnnMarie for a consult. I will never go anywhere else! Annmarie is a perfectionist, very knowledgeable and professional. I had highlights and also decided to chop all my hair off as she specializes in short cuts. Stellar results! Her staff are all knowledgeable as well. In addition, the salon suites in Mt Sinai are beautiful. Highly recommend. Book well in advance as she is always booked…. Oh…. And she also makes a killer chocolate chip cookie! Thanks AnnMarie!

I have been going to Shear Bliss for about a year now and I don't see myself looking for another salon anytime soon. All of the employees are welcoming and talented. I usually make an appointment for Saturday mornings and as soon as I get there, I'm offered a snack or a drink while I get settled. The girls also make frequent trips to the 7-Eleven (in the same parking lot) and ALWAYS ask if you want/need anything from there. During my last visit, a junior stylist did most of the work on my haircut & dye and she did an amazing job. I visited the salon again this past weekend and was happy to see that this same junior stylist was now booking her own clients and was almost a full stylist! My first time there, my friend Pina highly recommend Claudia at Sheer Bliss it was a delightful experience. Claudia made me feel welcomed and looked at my hair and knew exactly what she was going to do without me telling her. She is an awesome hair stylist and very experienced especially in curly hair! I am so happy that I found her. And I highly recommend Claudia.
