love this spot for its hip atmosphere and quality talent/service, had such a wonderful first experience. their coffee machine was out of pods and mervin went above and beyond and grabbed me a coffee next door. anderson is a great stylist and gave me a fresh mens long hair trim. thanks again!

Shear Addiction is my go to shop in the Monterey County. Everyone is super professional, clean and they all make you feel at home. I’ve seen a few of the barbers in the shop and they all exceeded my expectations. Check this place out. You won’t be disappointed.

This was my first time coming to the shop as I am just visiting for my wedding planning session today. Decided I wanted to get a beard trim and came in as a new costumer. Was originally suppose to see Mervyn but due to some scheduling issues, Noel took on my appointment. I have to say, if your looking for someone who is good at there job and makes you feel right at home, it’s this guy! Great convos, great energy, and overall, an amazing barber. Would come back again to see Noel! Highly recommend Noel as your barber if you are looking for someone in Monterey!

I’ve been a regular customer at this barbershop for a while. I had a mix-up where I accidentally scheduled my appointment a day earlier than intended. I understand that they have a no-show policy, and that’s their choice to enforce it. However, I was charged a $65 fee for the missed appointment, and they refused to waive it even after I explained it was an honest mistake. I even tried to reschedule for the next day, which is my birthday and when I originally intended to get my haircut. It’s disappointing, especially since I’ve been a regular customer and have spent a fair amount of money here.
