Sharkey's Cuts For Kids

We brought our 3‑year‑old in for his very first salon haircut (home haircuts have always been a challenge!), and the experience was absolutely wonderful. He got to choose from several fun themed chairs—including a school bus—which immediately put him at ease. My husband also had his hair cut, and we loved that they offer a father/son option. The whole place is incredibly clean and thoughtfully set up, with an Xbox section you can play while getting your haircut. They also offer manicures, ear piercing, hair tinsel, and dress‑up outfits with adorable photo props. Our son watched Paw Patrol during his haircut, and at the end he was given a balloon and a lollipop, which absolutely made his day. Thank you so much! We will definitely be coming back, and we highly recommend this place for kids.

We had the best experience at Sharkeys! I brought my two and four year old, and they loved how kid friendly it looked from the moment we walked in! My youngest was not excited about getting his hair cut, but Jackie was so kind, patient, and efficient getting my very squirmy two year olds hair cut. He was very apprehensive and she was calm and did everything she could to make him comfortable. My daughter got a "princess" braid and she was so happy with it! It looked great and lasted all day. They went out of their way to make it a fun experience and make them both feel special! We drove 30 plus minutes to get there and it was more than worth it. We will definitely be back!

Jackie Y. made our 13-month-old's first hair cut a fantastic experience. She was so sweet and worked so well with him, even as he was moving about. The salon was adorable and very clean and fun for him. His haircut looked great and Jackie asked for feedback throughout. The first haircut package came with before and after photos, a certificate, and a lock of hair. Jackie made our little one's first hair cut a breeze and we can't wait to go back!

We have been going here since my child was 1.4 and he’s almost 4. He has autism and Jess is so patient and kind with him. He has a very hard time with haircuts and she always takes her time and reassures us as parents that he’s ok! Highly recommend her if you have a child on the spectrum.

We had a wonderful experience at Sharkey’s thanks to Jess. She was absolutely amazing with my son who has autism — incredibly patient, kind, and understanding throughout the entire haircut. She took her time, never rushed him, and made him feel safe and comfortable, which means everything to a parent. It’s not easy to find someone who truly knows how to work with children with special needs, and Jess went above and beyond.
