Sharkey's Cuts for Kids

We have been to Sharkeys for a day of beauty and had a great experience, but my son’s haircut was truly phenomenal. He has been refusing haircuts for the last 2 months, he does not like the sound of the buzzing in his ears and he was afraid of being hurt with clippers. Carmen was an angel. Not only did she take her time but she was so attentive and caring. My son left laughing and smiling. He can’t wait to come back. I am so grateful to have found Sharkeys their entire team is amazing.

Teresa is so lovely. She truly does an amazing job with my daughter’s blow outs and nails. She’s so passionate about what she does and is always so warm and welcoming. It’s always a treasure to have her. My daughter loves Sharkey’s. It’s such a fun environment.

Amazing experience! I took my little daughter for a haircut, and we were so impressed. Andres is incredibly patient, skilled, and genuinely great with kids. He ensured my daughter felt happy and comfortable the entire time—no fear, just giggles! The salon is super kid-friendly and full of cheerful vibes. They have adorable car-shaped chairs to choose from, and my daughter was thrilled to sit in the Frozen car! Andres went above and beyond to make sure the final look was perfect. You can tell he cares about making kids look and feel great. The place is clean, bright, and welcoming — perfect for little ones. We’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommend for any parent looking for a stress-free, fun, and professional haircut experience for their child.

Heard nothing but positive things about Sharkey’s so was super excited to take my son for a haircut. I just don’t feel it was worth the hype. While the environment was unique and fun, the experience was mediocre at best. Upon arrival, the welcome we received did not seem warm. In re: to the haircut, I felt the hairstylist rarely engaged with my son & rushed through the process. His hair wasn’t washed, and after cutting, was not styled. Then before you know it, another kid was in the toy car he just got out before we could even fully leave the area. I did very much appreciate the receptionist offering his sister a balloon, too, even though she didn’t get a cut, we all know how it can be when only one child gets a toy! Overall, I was willing to spend extra money for the experience but for $3

Choosing Sharkey’s in Scarsdale for my daughter birthday was the best decision. The staff went above and beyond. My daughter felt so special and all the kids (and parents) had a blast. Dancing, games, beauty, fashion show, Sharkey’s goody bags for all and more. Absolutely Fantastic!! ❤️🦋❤️
