Sharkey's Cuts for Kids

Our visit here went very well. From start to finish the lady that did my son’s hair was so patient . This was my son’s first hair cut. I had delayed this until he was almost 3 because he’s such a difficult child when it comes to different sensory environments and how much he moves continually. However the hair getting in the snot nose and the Halloween candy stickiness convinced me it was time. The facility was kept nice, wasn’t too overwhelming. The stylist was very patient and came up with different ideas on how to get him to look down. She asked my preferences and opinions many times through out the cut. UPDATE: thank you for your acknowledgment and attention to our experience. Carissa was absolutely amazing, extremely accommodating, and was able to fix my son’s hair before Christmas. Very thankful for how this was handled and look forward to returning soon! Despite my negative experience with Shay, I would like to applaud Jy, she cut my elementary aged daughter’s hair and she was very pleasant.

Schedule an appointment for my son on Monday for a a Saturday cut. Get a call then end of the day Friday that they will no be able to cut my son's hair due to the stylist being sick. Instead of offering a different time slot requested an entire new day. Find this very unprofessional to update a customer 30 minutes before closing that your appointment is now canceled. Would not recommend.

Ours girls had appointments for back to school haircuts. The girls wanted bangs and I was hesitant about their choice. Melissa did an awesome job and their bangs turned out so nice. She did a great job and the girls loved her. We have also had Amber before and she has done great with our girls too. We love this place and would recommend to anyone with kids. It’s a fun experience, not just a haircut.

We took our son for his first cut. He is 2 years old and hates his hair being messed with. David did an amazing job. He was kind and patient and made sure even through my child screaming and moving around to get his hair cleaned up and nice. I appreciated him today more than I think he knows. I definitely recommend using them. We will be coming back❤️
