Sharkeys Cuts for Kids - Colonie, NY

We had a fantastic experience at Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids in Colonie, NY. Our son has always struggled at barbershops, but today was completely different — no tears, no fuss, and a genuinely positive experience. The staff were incredibly understanding of his autism, and Katrina was fast, patient, and excellent with him. My husband also got a great haircut while we were there, so it was a win all around. We will definitely be returning. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My son had his first haircut here at just under 3 years old and we had an amazing experience. Adrian was compassionate and patient with him. The whole family got involved at points to help get the job done and my son looks great after. Tear-free and went home with goodies (first haircut certificate, lock of hair, balloon, lollipop and a tattoo!) loved it and highly recommend.

We just took our son to Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids in Colonie and it was hands-down the best haircut experience we’ve had. Adrian cut his hair and was incredible. Our son has been really tough to get a haircut (lots of nerves, lots of wiggles), and Adrian was patient, calm, supportive, and so understanding the entire time. No rushing, no frustration — just genuine kindness and skill. The cut came out awesome, and more importantly, our son left feeling good about it. If you’re a parent who’s been stressing haircuts, book with Adrian. We couldn’t recommend him (and Sharkey’s) enough.

We took our 15 month old Nolan for his first haircut and it was amazing! Sharkey’s is very inviting and the experience Adrian provided made it easy and Nolan was able to handle it very well! Total experience was great and a Great place for kids !

My experience at Sharkey's was amazing. The vibe, the aesthetic, the staff (big shout out to Adrian for doing the most), and the haircut - all wonderful.
