Sharkey's Cuts for Kids - Broken Arrow, OK

I hate to give a bad review but I would not recommend this place to anyone. My son received the worst haircut I've ever seen, yes it was that bad. As you can see in the pictures, we asked for a shag, received her version of a bob. He looked like a girl. She cut his bangs way too short and left way too much weight at the bottom, leaving him with what looked like dog ears. Its evident in the photos that one side was much shorter than the other. We came home and thankfully I was able to fix it but I spent way too much money to do it myself. The stylist knew it was nothing like the picture we showed her and she charged me anyway. Took my son in for his very first haircut today, and the experience was truly wonderful. The stylist was incredibly kind, patient, and gentle with him, which made all the difference. She did a fantastic job on his hair and helped make what could have been a stressful moment into something really special. Thank you for making his first haircut such a positive and memorable experience!

My kids absolutely loved their haircuts and we officially won’t go anywhere else. They got their hair washed (got to pick their scent of shampoo), cut, and blow dried. The complimentary nail painting won over my girl’s hearts!

As a mom of a special needs kiddo hair cuts have always been a source of stress and dread for both myself and my son and we’ve tried quite a few salons in the past resulting in stylists having to stop the appointment due to time or unable to work around his stimming. Audrey was incredible in every way possible. I called before booking the appointment to discuss my concerns. She was so welcoming and helpful with ensuring me that they could absolutely address and work around his needs. So I have to be honest, since we moved out here we had been going to a kids salon that we loved. They are so good with the kids. But I was tired of my kids hair being barely shaved and uneven. We finally tried Sharkey’s and it did not disappoint! My son loved it, he did amazing! That was new for us! Mallory, (hope I’m spelling that right) you are a rockstar! You’re so much fun and so helpful! You really got my kiddo to open up to you and that’s not easy! You accomplished something others have had such a hard time doing!
