Booked with Maddie for my first cut & partial highlight here in Austin and couldn’t be happier with her! Her personality is 10/10 and her skills are phenomenal. I’ve had a lot of colors in my hair so we have quite a few more sessions to go to get it to the color I want and she really helped bring my hair back to life and I’m so excited to see her again to keep up the process of my hair! The salon environment is fun & relaxing. With the owners cute little fur baby treating everyone at the door with her presence. Definitely book here

5 stars for the overall vibe and how kind everyone was but 5 stars especially for Aileen! She gave me one of my favorite bob cuts ever! So precise, so much attention to detail. She really took time with me at the beginning to talk about the cut I want and what she'd do to make that happen so I really understood the mechanics of it all. She's also fun to chat with. Go see Aileen, I can't recommend her enough!

Today I arrived to Shag for my appointment only to find the salon had no water. Much to my surprise, my fabulous stylist Ashley was committed to keeping the appointment! They did a fantastic job touching up my color as per usual, and they and their coworkers rinsed my hair out using water from their Brita filter. Iconic display of ingenuity and teamwork. Shag Salon rules.

Beau is the best hair stylist that I've ever had. He's gifted. He's a warm person and fun to talk to. I showed him a picture of how I wanted my hair to look and he created a style for me that looked very attractive for my facial structure and appearance. The salon is urban and full of light. The staff is very nice and give great shampoos with little scalp massages. They use Oribe hair products which is like aroma therapy when my hair is shampooed. Beau's cut does all the "heavy lifting" for me because I just blow dry it with a small round brush, use a little product and off I go! Oh! And you must meet Dolly! Go see Beau, you won't regret it.
