She takes you on a hair journey to meet your goals and has transformed my hair from a black box dye to a beautiful balayage that is blonder after 2 sessions then I could have ever imagined. Tara is hands down the best hair stylist I've ever had. I've been getting my hair colored for 15 years and I have NEVER had such a positive experience as I had with Tara. I went for a consult first because I hadn't had my hair cut or colored in well over a year (I know), and I knew right away I was in good hands. I had a few inspiration pictures for her, but I mostly just wanted her to do her thing. I loved that Tara asked if I could send her the inspo pics so she could work on formulations before my appointment. Tara Bland is literally beyond AMAZING!! She takes the time to listen to what you want and tells you what the best thing for your hair is!! I have been getting my hair bleached for over 10 years and I don’t think it has ever felt better since she has been doing my hair!!! I highly recommend her and for extensions!! Hadn’t been to Tara before and was recommended by mutual friends. She is a kindred heart Texas girl and so easy to work with. I’ve been in Portland 5 years and have had such a hard time finding a hair stylist that can do good blonde highlights and she is the best! And also so so affordable compared to most other salons in Portland! Will definitely be going back!
