Faith is amazing! She literally transformed my curls and gave the best haircut. She came in on a Saturday for me in the summer (which down the Jersey Shore is a risk when it comes to parking!) and really made me feel so comfortable. I highly recommend her.

Was 3 minutes early to apt, waited as the hair dresser worked on her client when she worked past my apt time I kindly told her that I couldn’t wait any longer and she tried to say that she would charge my card regardless for the cancellation.. this person lacks integrity and couldn’t care less about anyone else’s time but herself. I’m glad I didn’t let this woman near me with scissors

I’ve been getting my curly hair cut by Faith for several years. She recently introduced to me a new awesome brush that defines the curls. I am so impressed by Faith’s devotion to using new techniques for curly hair. I have had several visits to a NYC curly hair salon in the past but my experience at Shag with Faith has been better than any of those experiences. And I can walk to Shag Salon as well. Bonus!!! I'm new to curly hair. After losing my hair from Covid, my hair grew back in curly. I had watched videos and done research on how to style it, but I felt that I needed a professional to show me the ropes. Faith spent a lot of time going over my hair, cutting and showing me how to style my hair. I love the way it looks now. She gave me a suggested list of products to use.

I can’t say enough good things about this salon! It’s a smaller salon but that’s what I loved about it. You get a very personal experience andyou have a chance to really connect with your stylist without feeling like there’s a million things going on around you. I went in for a balayage and haircut and Melissa was the stylist that I saw. She was not only incredibly kind but she really took the time to listen to exactly what I was hoping to achieve with my hair. She explained the process of what a balayage was and even went above and beyond and added some foils to really make my hair pop! I went in with dark hair and came out with beautiful blonde locks! There’s so much dimension to it and I just absolutely love it! I would highly recommend Shag to anyone!
