Shag Hair Studio

I am undergoing a health issue that caused my hair to start coming out. For my own emotional sanity, I needed my hair cut down to a buzz cut immediately. My regular stylist was not in, but Julie, who has the chair next to her, was so compassionate and took me in immediately, her client also was full of compassion as she was happy to let Julie take care of me inbetween getting her color and cut done.

Julie is wonderful with my mom. She is very personable and makes my mom feel at ease.

I have naturally curly hair and was referred to Shag about 5 years ago. I cannot say enough about the salon and their stylists! At least two of the girls are "Curly Girl" certified and know all about curls. This is the first salon I've found in the central Ohio area that knew what they were doing. Every other place wants to straighten my hair before doing a cut - waste of time! The stylists are fun. I swear I could stay in there all day just talking and laughing. April LeFever is my Master Stylist and colorist. Can do magic with beautiful cuts. Weaves 2 to 3 colors into my hair for for natural looking high and lowlights. It never fails that when l leave her salon, I receive several compliments on my hair within an hour! She also does the cut and color of my grandaughter's waist length hair. She makes her hair look amazing with the different colors, too.
