Shade Nine Salon

I’m very disappointed with this experience. I booked with Brynn (the owner) because I liked her work, but my hair did not turn out how we discussed. Most of my appointment was performed by her apprentice, which was not clearly communicated to me beforehand. While the apprentice was kind, that is not who I booked or paid for. The hair itself isn’t “bad,” but it is much darker with very little blonde compared to what we agreed on. I came in wanting to move my blonde up and remove brass, and I left with dark brown hair. I was extremely excited to go on a trip feeling confident with fresh, lighter hair, and instead I left feeling unhappy. After the appointment, I reached out to see if it could be fixed. Seriously the best hair salon in the area. Not only is it beautiful and clean inside, they have amazing stylists. I think my favorite part is the head rest in the sinks! It's a game changer!! No more achy necks! They also go the extra mile with special touches like a snack bar, drinks with add-ins, and top quality products. Brynn Black, the owner, is outstanding and a magician with color. She teaches and guides her employees and apprentices and assistants and helps them become the best hair stylist they can be as she shares of her expertise.

I had been looking to get a trim while in Utah and Brynn was kind enough to fit myself and my mother in on a Friday evening! Gracie, my stylist did an amazing job and was so kind to open up her schedule and stay late for me! I will definitely come back the next time I am in town!

Was super impressed and happy to have met and gotten my hair done by Sedona! I’ve recommended her to everyone 🤍 She did an incredible job in dying my hair and giving me the haircut I’ve always wanted! Not to mention she was the nicest person ever! Carly has done my hair twice now and both times she’s done an amazing job! I’ve always struggled with finding someone who could do my hair the way I wanted it to look until I found Carly and she made all my hair dreams come true. The pictures attached are of my first appointment with her and it shows my before and after! She’s the absolute sweetest and shade 9 is the cutest salon ever. They are also so hospitable and offer snacks and drinks during your appointment. I love shade 9 and Carly!
