Serenity Massage

I was having pain in my arm and shoulder and I booked an appointment with this place. Once I reached there an old lady welcomed me and showed me to the room . I told her very clearly about the pain and asked her who is going to massage me as she was looking very weak. She mentioned that she will do it , so I said okay. She started the massage but I was barely feeling any pressure and it looks like she has no idea about massage as well . So within 20 minute ,I asked her to stop giving me massage and ended leaving the place within another 5 minutes with same pain along with disappointment.

Horrible experience, the whole place smelled awful, like old, semi-rotting vegetables. The massage was barely a massage at all, the masseuse gave a standing massage with her feet, which was marginally better than when she used her hands, but overall, she seemed like she had absolutely no knowledge at all of how to do a massage. None of the pressure she applied had eased my muscles even the slightest. It just felt that she was rubbing and pushing the body part rather than massaging it. I felt worse than I did before the massage.

I recently injured my back at work and thought I'd give this place a try as I was driving by it yesterday. This place really has a very calming feel to it. The staff is very professional and inside appears to be new so i think its been renovated. Anyhow I was greeted by a masseuse named Sophia ....fantastic personality. I honestly didn't think this would help my pain but it really did make my back feel better. I definitely recommend this place if your having back problems or just want a relaxing massage. I'm pretty sure Ill be going there next week again as it helped immensely.

I was not aware that paying first was an industry standard. All of the massage parlors I have been; you pay at the end. Here, they showed me the door when I asked to pay after. No big deal, I’ll go somewhere else’s.

Because I'm black the lady made me pay first and would not touch me without gloves on. Then stood outside the bathroom door as if I was going to steal her toilet paper or something. If I could rate lower I would. Never going back
