Serenity Massage

I came in for a massage a couple of weeks ago and find that the experience was completely 'meh'. The online booking software was a bit clunky, which caused me to not see their intake form until the last minute. When I walked in, a was greeted, but with no smile or warmth. It felt very transactional. The massage was ok. It almost seemed as though she was much more talented than she was letting on, but that she was holding back for whatever reason. I asked for a mix of deep tissue and Swedish. I never got the deep tissue, at least no in my opinion. In fact, she never actually asked me "How's the pressure" at any point, which I find is unusual for a massage. I guess the price was ok ($100), but would rather pay more for a better massage.

I had such a great experience with Cassie! She gave me the best massage and so much knowledge and advice on how to improve my upper back due to my job. I can’t wait for my next massage with her!

I have been going to this place for several years infrequently and little by little have seen it decline. I recently saw someone named Cassie who had to be the most unfriendly person that I have ever met. She did a somewhat adequate job but you could see that she hated to be there. Towards the end of the time I'm not sure who was more in a hurry to get out of there me or her!!! I will definitely not be going back ¡!!!!!!!!

I had high hopes after reading the many positive reviews on here, but my experience fell short of expectations. I booked a deep tissue massage with Ashley. The atmosphere is very tranquil which I liked. I told her about the knots under my shoulder blades and wanted to focus on those. I asked for medium/deep pressure in to release them. I basically received a glorified neck massage with light pressure. About halfway through I mentioned I didn’t feel her technique was relieving the tension and asked to change focus. I was met with a little bit of an attitude. I got 5 more minutes where she tried to get a knot out and my massage was over. For this experience, I can’t recommend Serenity or Ashley and I won’t return.

I can’t say enough good things about Ashley and Serenity Massage!! I have been seeing her since October’23 and I have been to other massage places and they were good but when I say Ashley and her bag of tricks have made a HUGE difference in helping me through my accident recovery. I chose Ashley because she did Graston, Cupping, Myofascial Release, Deep tissue and other techniques. I explained what was wrong and it’s amazing how well I can move!! I went in once and had a pain in my left bicep and she did something on my right side and the pain was gone. As for Deep tissue, I can say I have never wanted to tap out from the pain in a calf muscle and I’m so glad I didn’t- that girl knows her stuff!!
